Bisita Simbahan: Kasimbayanan Program of Chief PNP

We visit the Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church at Barangay Fatima, General Santos City. One of the most famous Church in the community, wherein thousands of people visits every weekend to address their prayers to our Almighty God. This is where I had my first communion and got the good moral character as my requirement in PNPA Application.

This activity is related to the KASIMBAYANAN program of our Chief PNP, in which we visit the church to learn more about how the PNP and the Church collaborate to develop crime prevention and community service measures. We learned from Father Bobby Parreño that the Church wholeheartedly supports the PNP's efforts in the Barangay Fatima neighborhood.

Where they encourage the community's support of youth-focused initiatives, they also urge the youth to participate in various activities that will raise their spirits and aid in forming their character. These events inspire our police officers to uphold moral principles while performing their duties and to serve the community as God-centered police officers.

Every weekend, we also practice visiting our separate places of worship as cadets at the Philippine National Police Academy. This will strengthen our spiritual outlook and connection to God. We must remember that he is always there to support us in everything we do. We must always make morally correct decisions and uphold our convictions to become influential public safety leaders.
