Awareness of what is happening in his area of duty is one of a great leader's qualities. At GSCPO Station 07 in Barangay Fatima, General Santos City, PMAJ Dennis Monroid Yuson is holding a conference meeting with his team. PCDT Jackie Bass and PCDT John Paul Labtic attend the meeting as observers. A Station Commander's duties and responsibilities include monitoring his station's effectiveness.

The tasks and responsibilities include monitoring the station's energy, assessing whether it is advancing or lagging, and figuring out what went wrong and what went well. They also involve acting immediately and coming up with actions to discover a resolution to aid or enhance the station's functioning.

As an observer at this conference, I have come to understand that it is essential for a Station Commander to be familiar with all the departments at their station, including the Administrative or S1 Department, which is in charge of keeping track of all station accomplishments in the past. Knowing your crew members' strengths and limitations will help you, as the Station Commander, decide where to place each of them. Being in the organization, we must be bold about what we know. We must inform our colleagues so that they can participate in the station's current situation.

We also hold this conference or meeting when there is an upcoming activity inside the academy, where all of the Cadet officials of the company are there along with all of the company's members to discuss and make strategies to have a positive output during the whole day.

Here, we gave assignments to the cadets who held important positions in our organization. As the ruling class, we ensured that all tasks were understood, overseen, and completed inside the organization. Being a station commander entails many responsibilities for your subordinates, including the station's performance, their welfare and morale, and how to motivate them to participate in the station's aims and objectives.
