PCDT John Paul Labtic, PCDT Jackie Bass, and PCDT Shahid Mukaram, a member of MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 Philippine National Police Academy, conducted a courtesy call to Barangay Chairman Reynante Curit. This activity is connected to the Chief PNP's KASIMBAYANAN program, in which we go to the Pamayanan or LGU to learn more about how the PNP and the LGU work together to formulate policies for crime prevention and volunteer work.
When it comes to carrying out police-community relations initiatives to have a more significant impact on the community of Barangay Fatima, we learned that the Barangay chairman plays a very active part in supporting the station commander at Police Station 7 with logistical, financial, and moral support. And as a result, Police Station 07 in General Santos City was declared the most excellent police station, and Barangay Fatima was acknowledged as one of the top Barangays.

As the Chairman of Barangay Fatima for almost five years, Captain Curit also shared his methods for developing fruitful connections with station commanders. He added that he could do this by supporting the station commander's objectives because each station commander has their leadership style. He also emphasized the need to work diligently when it comes to leadership, characterizing diligence as the attitude of constantly wanting to better one's work. He won't tolerate anything less, which is a perfect sign of good leadership.
Monday Flag Raising Ceremony (January 16, 2023)

PCDT John Paul Labtic, PCDT Jackie Bass, and PCDT Shahid Mukaram, a member of MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 Philippine National Police Academy, attend the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at GSCPO Station 07 under the Supervision of Deputy Station Commander PCPT Paclibar at Barangay Fatima, General Santos City.
As cadets who underwent the Station Immersion, we were required to watch the operations of the police station that was allocated to us so that we could assess and evaluate how to enhance our police system further once we graduated from the Academy.
