National Remembrance for the Heroic Sacrifice of SAF 44

PMGEN Jon Arandia Arnaldo, our former Dean of Academics at PNPA, currently Director of the Philippine National Police's Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development, was our special guest and speaker. In addition to visiting General Santos City to represent our Chief PNP, he also expressed his respects to the family of our Valor SAF 44.

Our nation will remember gallant SAF 44's heroic sacrifice on January 25, 2023. PMGEN Jon Arandia Arnaldo expresses his feelings, and he read the Chief PNP's statement to everyone present at the ceremony. The Chief PNP's advice is to value our mandate of duty, honor, and justice. As police officers, we are responsible for carrying out our oath of office by maintaining the law and ensuring everyone abides by it, regardless of their circumstances.

This ceremony is a constant reminder that gallant SAF 44's heroism must always be remembered and used as motivation for all Filipinos, not just PNP members, and that there are still heroes out there who have given their lives so that we can live in peace and instill hope in everyone.

As a cadet of The Philippine National Police Academy, we were constantly reminded of the selfless act of our gallant SAF 44, and this inspired all of us to act morally, especially when the time comes when we will be the ones taking control. Rest assured that this annual commemoration of gallant SAF 44 will always be observed and passed on to our future law enforcement officers so that they can learn and be inspired by the valiant efforts of our heroes and motivate them to provide quality service to the community.
